Jeff Dietrich

Born in Worcester, raised in Shrewsbury, schooled in the Berkshires, moved to Boston for grad school and fell for the place, hard. Now, after 12 years there and 32 in my home state, I’m wandering to see what literally any other place feels like to live for a while. Though that might take me right back to the front porch, it turns out I also just really enjoy the act of going places, so I think I’m gonna continue for a bit.

I’ve worked in libraries and a hardware store, as an event photographer, an advocate and a community engagement specialist for infrastructure projects. I go nowhere without an e-reader packed with sci-fi and recommendations from trusted friends, and a playlist that is constantly expanding outward from the common ancestor of 90s-2000s pop-punk. I try to carry my camera whenever I go somewhere interesting, and am working to remember that should mean going nowhere without it.
