Exhibitions

New Visions of Designed Environments, Boston Society of Architects, Boston, MA | June 4, 2019 – January 3, 2020 | web
(2 photographs)
This photo exhibition marks the first in a five-year series of rotating photography exhibitions that will take place at BSA Space in the Storefront Gallery and second floor conference rooms. Exhibitions are expected to change every six months and will feature a roster of photographers exploring themes related to architecture, the built environment, and the power of design to transform and improve people’s lives.

New Visions of Designed Environments features photography that represents new, creative, and diverse perspectives on the built or designed environment.

The open call for proposals sought widely diverse points of view and was open to all photographers, regardless of affiliation with the BSA/AIA or BSA Foundation. The entries were juried by Meghan Melvin, Christine O’Donnell, and Peter Vanderwarker.
